After you have finished exploring the sight and sounds of the mosque, it is time to move on to the next destination.
The Medina in Casablanca is a must-see, with impressive architecture and rich history. Be sure to allow plenty of time to explore this fascinating area. If time permits, we’ll explore other destinations before heading back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
On Day 3 of your Morocco vacation, you’ll travel from Casablanca to Rabat, the country’s capital. In Rabat, you’ll visit the imperial city, where you’ll see the king’s palace and the famous Hassan Tower.
The Hassan Tower is a minaret located in Rabat. The tower was built in the 12th century as part of a mosque and it is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city. The Hassan Tower is made of stone and brick and is decorated with intricate mosaics and carvings.
Continue to Kasbah Oudayas, a fortress and the citadel in Rabat. The Kasbah was built in the 12th century and served as a military stronghold. You’ll also visit the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university globally, and the Nejjarine Fountain, a beautiful example of Moroccan architecture. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to try some of the local cuisines, including fresh bread and pastries.
Leave to Fes el Jdid (13th century) the perfect place to explore the Mellah (old Jewish quarter and cemetery) and take advantage of its location for a stunning panoramic photo of the city. From here, your day will end in a local Riad.
On Day 6 of your trip, you’ll travel from Fes to Chefchaouen, the blue city. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the city with your guide and learn about its history and culture. You’ll also have plenty of time to take in the sights and sounds of this unique place. Be sure to have your camera ready, as there are plenty of photo opportunities.
